Hi, I’m Jacki!

I started my career as a speech-language pathologist, supporting children and families for eight years with a focus on communication and nervous system regulation. My approach was shaped by training in Polyvagal Theory, Floortime, and mental health-informed care, offering a relational, body-based lens for communication and connection.

As a highly sensitive person, I have a deep understanding of overwhelm, shutdown, and masking in my own body. These experiences not only inform my perspective in my coaching and programs, but they also shape how I show up with more compassion, attunement, and a commitment to helping others feel safe in themselves and their relationships.

Over the past six years, I’ve expanded my work beyond therapy rooms into women’s journaling circles, clay and cacao gatherings, movement experiences, and yoga for neurodivergent teens. These offerings have given me alternative opportunities to guide people towards authenticity, expression, and ease.

In 2022, I became a mother. Motherhood deepened everything for me.

Navigating my own sensitivities, birth trauma, and changes in my body, I found myself in survival mode: tender, overstimulated, and disconnected from myself. I longed for a space where I could feel connected to my body, to others, and to joy outside of my mother role.

That’s when I returned to one of my childhood joys: dance. Free, intuitive movement became a way back to my body and my joy. It lowered my stress, opened my heart, and made me a more present, grounded mother and therapist. Alongside movement, I also found music and sound to be powerful pathways for shifting my nervous system, creating moments of calm, and opening space for deeper connection. Finally, storytelling has held a unique and transformative power for me. It has allowed me to process my experiences, feel seen, and connect with myself and others on a profound level. Through stories, we can heal, grow, and create shared moments of understanding and belonging. I’m grateful to now offer alternative pathways for people cultivate more ease, acceptance and connection through coaching, listening therapy delivery, dance, journaling, music, sound, circles and workshops.

I created this space because I believe that when we create safety within ourselves, we can begin to live with more authenticity, expression, and ease. From there, we can move out of overwhelm and step into joy and connection—both with ourselves and with the people around us.
